Fred Barnhill
Fred is weekend Meteorologist for CW33 News at Nine.
Fred studied Meteorology and Mass Communications at The University of Oklahoma. He began his broadcast career in 1981 at KTEN-TV in Ada, Oklahoma.
Fred has almost 25 years of television weather experience. He has worked with stations in Chattanooga, TN; The Weather Channel in Atlanta, GA; KOSA-CBS in Midland/Odessa, TX; KVUE-ABC in Austin, TX; WBMG-CBS in Birmingham, Al and WHIO-CBS in Dayton, OH.
In 2003, Fred was awarded Honorable Mention for Best Weathercast in Texas by the Texas Associated Press. He has The American Meteorological Society's Seal of Approval and was previously awarded Best WeathercastAward by United Press International.
Fred joined CW33 News at Nine in 1999.
