Question: I am curious about the shopping bags like the plastic ones and the paper shopping bag. I know that they are bad for the enveronment. I know that there are envirnment friendly ones but I need to know where I can purchase them because it will be easier on the envirnment and easier on myself.
Please let me know.
Answer:
They are available at most major grocery stores, including Tom Thumb, Kroger, Central Market and Whole Foods, just to name a few. They are pretty affordable, most only costing a dollar or two. You'll find them usually up near the cash register. If you can't find them, check with the store's customer service desk and ask for environmentally friendly "canvas" shopping bags. They'll be glad to help you!
