Bob Irzyk

Bob is Sports Director and Sports Anchor weeknights on CW33 News at Nine.
Bob attended Southern Illinois University where he achieved a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honors in Radio and Television.
He began his career in broadcasting at CLTV in Oak Brook, Illinois. Bob then went on to WFLD-FOX in Chicago and WFTS-ABC in Tampa, FL. where he produced, reported and anchored his own sports programs.
Bob won 3 Emmy Awards for his coverage of the Chicago Bulls Championships during his time at CLTV. Most recently, Bob was awarded 1st place Broadcaster Award by the Texas Associated Press for his Nolan Ryan documentary.
Bob and his wife have been active in Big Brothers, Big Sisters for more than 6 years. The two have mentored little brother, Christian for that time also. They were honored as "Couple of the Year" by BBBS of North Texas in 2004.
Bob and his wife enjoy spending time with their Pomeranians. A little known fact about Bob is that he speaks fluent Polish!
