2011 Super Bowl Planners Lay Out 2011 Game Plan

Super Bowl XLV planners are promising the biggest, most spectacular game ever when it comes to North Texas. They say 2011 will be here before you know it.
On Monday, planners laid out their gameplan for the big game.
"When you look at the collective strength and economic power of our entire North Texas region, then this will be the finest superbowl that's ever been put on," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said.
The goal, 15 one million-dollar founding sponsors. Four have signed up so far. Ross Perot, Junior and Roger Staubach are leading the charge, and kicking in the big bucks.
Well, it was my idea to have the founding sponsors," Staubach said. When you have an idea, you got to kind of back it up."
Jerry Jones arrived with Perot, passing over the stadium from above.
"I tell you, I wish every one of our fans could come to the game one time in that helicopter, and see... get the view." Jones said.
Mayors from Dallas, Fort Worth and Arlington huddled.
"A year from today, we'll be operating the stadium," Arlington Mayor Dr. Robert Cluck said. "And I think we'll start off with some concerts and things just to break it in."
Although NFL games won't be played in this new stadium until fall of 2009, events connected with the Super Bowl begin in North Texas next February.
The Super Bowl XLV logo was unveiled. Get ready to see that a lot! Two-and-a-half years out, the NFL likes what it sees.
In the planning process we have to hold on just a little bit and let the host community catch up to us," NFL Senior Vice-President of Events Frank Supovitz said. "And I have to tell you as I sit here today, we have some catching up to do to you."
The planners say this is just the first Super Bowl for North Texas.
Super Bowl XLV could fill the stadium and outdoor plaza with 125,000 people.
