Brian's Buddy Pet Photo Competition

Official Rules

"THE BRIAN'S BUDDY PET PHOTO" Competition is sponsored by KDAF-TV/CW33, whose joint decisions regarding all aspects of the competition shall be final and binding in all respects.

HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Visit "Brian's Pet Page" on www.cw33.com. Email your pet's photo to the email address provided on www.cw33.com. Void where prohibited. To view your photo and see if you are a winner, visit www.cw33.com after 12Noon at the end of the month. If you see your pet's photo under "My Buddies" section, contact KDAF-TV/CW33 via the return email link provided on the photo page. One winner per household. Odds of winning based on the number of valid entries.

COMPETITION DATES: Competition runs weekly.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: All photo entries that comply with all applicable competition rules will be judged. Every Friday, a panel of judges from KDAF-TV/CW33 will choose the winners. The judges shall select one(1) winner. If a potential winner does not contact "Sponsors" via the provided return email link within five (5) days from the first posting, then such person will be disqualified and prize will be forfeited. Forfeited prizes will not be reassigned or awarded. The decisions of "Sponsors" relating to the judging of the winners is final.

PRIZES: One(1) winner will be chosen the Pet Poll. One(1) Winner will receive a CW33 T-shirt (prizes not valued at more than $50) and a special pet certificate. If a chosen "winner" has two or more members in their group, they must agree to split the prize equally among themselves.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS: This competition is void where prohibited or restricted by law. a. To enter, you must be a resident of Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX Metro/DMA area (as defined by AC Nielson Co.) and a legal U.S. resident. b. Employees of KDAF-TV/CW33, Tribune Broadcasting Company and their subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising agencies are not eligible to win. Such employees' immediate family and household members also are ineligible to participate in this competition. c. Winners who have won any prize from KDAF-TV/CW33 within the last 30 days are ineligible and will be disqualified.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: a. Use of winner's name: By entering, each entrant grants permission, without further compensation, to "Sponsors" and their agents and licensees, to use the entrant's name, voice, photograph, likeness and biographical material for broadcast and promotional purposes in connection with the competition on a worldwide basis, and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without further compensation.

b. Execution of Affidavit and Release: The prize will be forfeited if the winner does not execute the prepared form of release and waiver within five (5) business days of the competition, or if the selected winner is not eligible in accordance with these rules.

c. Release of Station and "Sponsor" Liability: By entering, entrants agree to release Sponsors' respective officers, directors, employees, franchisees, licensees, representatives & agents from any claim, loss, liability, damage or injury of any kind arising from their participation and the participation of their companions in this Competition or their receipt or use of any competition prize won. "Sponsors" shall have no liability and will be held harmless for any liability, loss, injury or death to entrant or any other person, including without limitation, damage to personal property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize by winner.

d. No Prize Substitutions: No substitute prizes are available; however, competition sponsors may, at their discretion, substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Prize is non-transferable and has no cash equivalent.

e. No Warranties: By entering, each entrant agrees and acknowledges that Sponsors have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relating to any of the prize items, including but not limited to, the quality, merchantability, habitability, mechanical condition, or fitness of the prize items.

INTERNET/FORCE MAJEURE: If for any reason, this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, tampering, fraud, technical failure, or any other cause which corrupts or threatens the administration, security or integrity of the competition, "Sponsors" reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or suspend the Competition or any portion of the Competition. ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE FAIR AND LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS COMPETITION WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE COMPETITION. Information submitted in Internet entries, including entrant's name, address, e-mail address, etc, shall be used only in a manner consistent with the consent given by entrants at the time of the entry, with these Official Rules and with the KDAF-TV online privacy policy, which can be found at cw33.com. Competition shall be governed and enforced pursuant to Texas law, excluding choice of law provisions.
